Orono Varsity Boys Hockey is excited to launch our new website and registration platform powered by Crossbar.

Our goal with this transition is simple: create a more modern, streamlined experience for our families while improving communication, scheduling, registration, and volunteer coordination across the program.

As we continue to grow, we believe this platform will better support both our players and our families for years to come.

If you have never used Crossbar before for any sport or activity, you must first create a Crossbar account before registering here. If you already have a crossbar account, you may move to STEP 2.



Important:

Please use one consistent email address for your account. This email will become the primary email connected to your Crossbar family profile across all participating sports and activities.

Once your account is created:

• Add your family members using the “+” button
• Review names and birthdates for accuracy
• Invite a spouse, significant other, or additional guardian to join your Crossbar family if desired

Some participant information may already have transferred from SportsEngine.

To review your participants:

ACCOUNT → Participants

Adding a profile photo for each athlete is encouraged and helps ensure the correct participant is selected during registration.

NOTE: In order to create a database transfer from Sports Engine, members were uploaded with birthdates that would make the individual 100 years old. Check the birthdates on ALL members. If you have one of these as a duplicate, please correct the birthdate. Crossbar will then link the two overnight and there will not be duplicate players. Again, adding a photo for your player helps keep the actual account you are using easily identifiable.

Players that use their own email address will be added to booster board emails and the crossbar chat. This will also allow them to see their schedules on the crossbar app on a mobile device. It is recommended to have both parent and player emails in the system for full functionality.

Once your Crossbar account has been created, return to OronoFootball.com.

• Click ACCOUNT → LOG IN
• Use the same email associated with your Crossbar account
• Click the blue REGISTRATION button to view available programs & register your player

The Crossbar mobile app is available through the App Store.

The app will serve as your family’s central location for:

• Team schedules
• Team communication
• Rosters
• Team chat
• Program updates

Your Crossbar family calendar can eventually include activities across multiple sports using Crossbar.

The Crossbar APP and MOBILE WEBSITE are different experiences

Volunteer opportunities will now be managed through Crossbar.

Volunteer opportunities will continue to be added throughout the season through the Volunteer Portal on the website/mobile website.

Additional volunteer details will be shared during registration and throughout the season.
