Baseline Concussion Testing Available to Players
Has your player completed a baseline concussion test in the last 2 years?
If you are interested in your player completing baseline concussion testing this year, please sign up via the Sign Up Genius link below. There are two different test dates offered and testing will be after school at Orono HS.
Baseline tests are $5/person. Money will be collected individually on the day of the test by the Orono Athletic trainers.
Orono Boys HS Hockey Boosters have coordinated with Michelle Goudy, Orono High School's Athletic Trainer, to host the training for the Orono Boys HS Hockey team. Testing is recommended every 2 years, so if your player took the test last year with any sport or clinic, Ms. Goudy says they don't need to test again.
Orono High School uses Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care to store the tests. The HS Trainers also have access to thebaseline tests. If an athlete receives a concussion and would like to take a post test, they can take it through Fairview or the Orono HS trainers can send the player's baseline results to any physician/clinic of their choice.
