Salt Delivery begins Saturday, Oct 3
Get your muscles ready! All players are expected to load vehicles.
Twice per year each incoming and returning player for the Orono H.S. Boys Hockey players are expected to sell water softener salt as a source of financing the Varsity and JV hockey program. The money raised helps support such things as equipment, jerseys, coaches fees, travel expenses, away game sandwiches for the players and senior night.
Each player is expected to sell 110 bags of salt and deliver them to their customers. As an incentive, the player who sells the most salt wins a new hockey stick! For those that choose not to sell salt or if your player does not sell a full 110 bags it is expected that you cover the profit from the selling salt by paying a $300.00 buy-out contribution (or $2.75 per bag) not sold.
All players are expected to be involved!!
Attached is the order form. Make copies of the form to keep track of your individual customers. When your sales are complete, compile your totals and fill out one form per player with the total for each type of salt needed. Turn in the money with your final order form to:

Salt will be available for delivery to your customers on Saturday, October 3, beginning at 8:00 am, in the Orono Ice Arena parking lot. All players are expected to help load vehicles even if they did not participate in selling salt and chose the buy-out option instead.
